This project intends to build the capacity of young people the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) and Nationally Determined Contributions (Gh-NDCs) processes in Ghana so as to participate actively in helping to achieve the State’s climate obligations.
This initiative commenced in September, 2019 as part of observing the September Climate Strike. It’s to empower and raise children as climate activists and environmentalists to educate and influence their peers, family members and neighbors towards environmental sustainability.
This project seeks to establish a Youth in Renewable Energy Movement in Ghana by building the capacity and knowledge base of young people as key actors in the development and utilization of renewables. The movement will create a youth-led awareness of policies, programs, and practices on renewables.
